There are federal taxes, and state taxes. City taxes, county taxes, school taxes, sales taxes, gas taxes, food taxes, income taxes. Ultimately though, who has a right to the taxes? Should all taxes be redistributed to all citizens? Should there be a global tax? A continental tax? NATO tax? UN tax? Euro tax? And who has a right to decide where the taxes go?

I got a $5 American bill in my wallet. Abraham Lincoln's name and portrait is on it. He's been dead for about 150 years. Should I really collect as many as I can and lay them on his grave? Seems silly to me.

Actually the "Feds" here are not the same as the U.S. Federal government. The Federal Reserve is a system of PRIVATELY owned banks, whose overall control is through a board of governors partially appointed by officials of the U.S. Federal Government. This board of governors is given an exclusive monopoly over MONETARY POLICY, an obfuscating euphemism for: "laws against counterfeiting currency? What laws against counterfeiting currency?
