In his honor, my favorite quote/joke/line:

"Since the VP is such a VIP shouldnt we keep the PC on the QT or the VP could end up MIA and we'll all end up on KP."

Well, when you can do no better, suicide seems to be a tempting option.

('course, it's not entirely clear that this was an intended suicide, but it probably was).

Why rest in peace if he was so selfish to end his own life if that's the case? Doesn't it show weakness to kill yourself? It is sad though.

This is terrible news. :(

And by asphyxiation? Geesh. The guy was one of the best of our time.

He was a very gracious and generous person...
with his time, wealth, abilities & humor.

If he did punch his own ticket, I don't see it as selfish
and he had his own demons to deal with.

Shazbot!

Funny, zany guy. His old stand up routines really made me laugh.

I liked watching him with Koko:

"This evening we'll have full coverage of the death. Check your local listings." I heard this on the CBS Morning show earlier. It sounded so strange. Ha.

He hung himself with a belt stuck into the closet. Never would have ever thought Robin Williams would have hung himself.

I am kind of pissed at him, and I feel terrible for his family. I totally forgot about his daughter named Zelda. I always thought he named her after the video game because she was born right about the time when The Legend Of Zelda first came out. I guess I was right:

Now we will always have Zelda (both daughter and video game) to remind us of how much we actually loved Robin!

Robin Williams left a rather large legacy of accomplishments
in this life to remind us of his presence and know he's missed.

Trying to wrap my head around this..obviously the dude was messed up, but the details blew me away. So first he mangles his wrist with a pocketknife and fails so he wraps a belt around his neck and wedges the end in the closet door frame and sits down, suspending his rear a little off the floor. He could have stood up at any time to live but he went thru with it. He REALLY wanted to die....WTF, over? Dude.....so goddammed tragic ;o( I hope they publish the note that was theoretically left....maybe his desperation can help someone else avoid this in the future....gods.

Ugh. That on top of him already battling depression? Probably what sent him over the edge.
