The Louisville Purge

This is seriously the scariest thing ever... I live a little too close for comfort to the area and have plenty of friends in Louisville. SaviorShot (not sure if he is still around) is also located in the area.

Just as a basis so you don't have to read through the whole thing and other sources...

Some doof decided to make a flier of "The Louisville Purge" starting at the time I am posting this, tonight. It was posted on Twitter by said doof, and it spread like crazy. Fliers were made and found on the streets, if I read something correctly. The school system there, Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) has been on heightened alert and many activities, for public and private schools, have been postponed. The Jefferson County Police, Jeffersonville, Indiana Police, FBI, and plenty of other people are on alert. There is a Katy Perry concert at the Yum! Center as well as the Kentucky State Fair, both which have been named in rumors/threats.

Even if this was posted as a joke, this could be a catalyst for whack-jobs in the area for mass "flash-mob violence", some of which has started springing randomly throughout Kentucky since a March 22 attack. The city I am located in has also been named in threats and more crime has sprung up here in the past month or two.

I hope that this doesn't come to be... But be cautioned, everyone, throughout the weekend.

"Good ol' Kentucky."

Sounds like that's the day to get some beer, get the gun, and then sit on the porch drinking til late at night.

Marketing ploy by the movie maker? What's more effective/fun than raising awareness by needlessly inducing public panic? Now, excuse me. I'm off to my bunker to avoid the inevitable outbreak of Ebola in Ohio (I listen to D. Trump's every word).

Lucky, you only have to deal ebola. We have to deal with the Antelope Army of Armageddon in Wyoming.

And people thought Bear Cavalry was a terrifying sight.

Those aren't police. They are intimidation forces.

I remember when I was still in the Libertarian Party. We used to watch Hill Street Blues and make fun of the cops. It's so ridiculous. They'd go beat the piss out of some poor junkie, and then they'd come back to the station and whine about how stressful their job was. Yeah. Four heavily-armed men beating the piss out of one unarmed junkie sounds like it really hurts them worse than it hurts him.

The Soviets were getting their asses kicked in Afghanistan at the time, and a couple of my buddies and I got an idea. We'd go down to the library and photocopy Pravda and stuff, circle items about the poor suffering Soviet soldier in Afghanistan, and compare to that week's Hill Street Blues. We started writing a script for a show called Kabul Blues.

Show never happened, of course, but writing the script was both fun and educational...:)
