Should we remove punctuation?

He only removed apostrophes and quotation marks.

I don't think you should remove periods or question marks, and removing the colon can have disastrous consequences.

They took it out of alphabet soup in the 60's and it still tastes the same.

Speaking of alphabet soup, does Spanish alphabet soup have any ñ (eñe)? How do they get the squiggle to float over the n without attaching it? If they don't aren't they missing an important Spanish letter?

Hey did you hear about the apostrophe that slipped? He fell into a comma.
