This. UNC was blatantly cheating for almost 20 years. And not just 1 or 2 students. 1500 students in all major sports. SMU paid players, apparently now that's only a "grey area" depending on who you ask, and got hammered so hard that it's only just in the last few years they finally had some success. UNC though, was ALL academic fraud. No excuses. Hammer the entire athletic department for this.

But through it all they still had the best mascot in collegiate sports. It's not possible to top a very dainty-acting miniature pony.

Every university in North America offers fraudulent courses such as "Women's Studies" and "Psychology". UNC should be rewarded for not actually subjecting their students to such baloney.

Over the course of nearly 20 years and something like 1500 student-athletes, they basically put athletes on academic scholarships into fake classes so they could get easy passing grades. Which is a big no no in the NCAA. Actually one of the biggest violations they could commit.

What's a 'fake class'?

Easy workaround, create a major on sport related issues with subjects like injury recovering, peds 101, money investing for dummies, sport trivia, sport interviews 101, avoiding cameras while beating your wife, marketing, etc.

Hmm... They save on professor salaries.. take a dividend and send it to the players. >.> Players get a degree, and learn nothing in college. At the end the only unhappy people are all those who didn't get to graduate in this system... and teh Collegiate Sports Association.
