Yes, that is a problem in general. The chances of getting laid as a result of the American elections is rather non existent. No one wants to give anything even close to a f*ck. But never the less I will carry on. Would you like some leaflets on the candidates in my area? Perhaps a nice Republican can cooler as well? How about placing this sign on your lawn. Well thank you very much and have a nice day.

This news makes me very happy! It would do the world a disservice to deny us Rob Ford updates!
Bollocks.

Canada acceding to this confederation, and adjoining in the measures of the United States, shall be admitted into, and entitled to all the advantages of this Union; but no other colony shall be admitted into the same, unless such admission be agreed to by nine States.
In the United States House of Representatives, the District is represented by a delegate, who is not allowed to vote on the House floor but can vote on procedural matters and in congressional committees. D.C. residents have no representation in the United States Senate.

So republicans have control of the house and senate now...what exactly does anyone expect to change? the blame will now just be tweaked to the current situation? President Obama will now just issue more executive orders while the democrats blame the republicans for not working with him to pass legislation? If things get worse, the Democrats will blame the Republicans (since they won control of the house and senate). The Republicans will try and shift some spending, but spend just as much? Maybe they try and impeach President Obama? Repeal Obamacare? What is the Republican plan anyway?
