Sooner or later the Chinese will start flying around...
Probably followed by floods in the American bases in the Pacific :D

Currently the East Asian airs are still being terrorized by America and its allies.

That said, new aircraft carrier to be fully operational within the next year or two. Asian skies for Asian planes!

The UK used Typhoons to intercept, which are a World War II era plane, even older than the Bear. :o

Seems there is a pattern in that... Russia will have S-500 and fifth generation plane on key locations by 2016... And China is preparing to show some teeth :)

There is one very interesting question... Why do Russians send old and slow Tu-95? Because Patriots response time is 90 seconds(+ satellite) S-500 as comparison has 4 seconds response time.

Are you sure that 1952>1994?

If RAF sends WW2 Typhoons they will choke less then half way  RAF sent this Typhoon ;)

Do you actually think I believe the RAF was sending up WWII planes.

This proves that you are gullible.

I can't read other peoples minds so I wont dive into speculation of what were you thinking.

Engines of the "invisible" Chinese plane make it visible... I guess it will be "Asian skies for Asian planes(with Russian engines)!" :D

GoranZ, why are you in love with Russians? You seem infatuated with them. Is this a schoolboy crush?

I think that you are mistaking a lot... I'm only betting on the better team, and I'm not only betting on Russia ;)
After the end of WW2 Europe(including Russia) was in ruins, the only country that profit from the war was US... Also US was the only country with Nuclear potentials... despite all that Russia managed to stay in the cold war race. Now US has advantage but that advantage is nothing compared to the one before the cold war. US is only strongly allayed with EU, but EU is union of weaklings. On the other hand China and India are two emerging world powers and they wont stay on side for very long time.
In my opinion the west is the one that wants collision with Russia, not other way around, in order to move its economy forward in time for much larger clash since it cant afford collision with 2 world powers atm. Its a question of time when China will join in the games to rule the world... I presume sometimes in the middle of this decade. Then the things will get very interesting, especially for EU.

False. The only reason this isn't called another Cold War is because Russia has nowhere near the capabilities of the Soviet Union.

China will pull a US if another major world conflict ensues. They will profit and allow others to take the brunt of the suffering and then swoop in for the spoils.

I'm in love. Weapons for Peace. That's a message I can get behind.

From the Press Release:
Brand developers have added a double meaning to the slogan: Kalashnikov’s weapons are the most popular around the world, surpassing closes competitors by orders of magnitude based on units manufactured; at the same time, Kalashnikov weapons are made to maintain peace around the world, regionally and in particular countries—they help nations protect their sovereignty, their right for peaceful existence, their right to pick their own historic fate.

Let's not forget what Kalishnikov himself said:
a firearm must be beautiful like a woman, it must fit your hands perfectly and make you want to take it.

Said the one who originates from the country that thought that Maginot line would stop the Germans

Sad to hear about the terrorist attacks in Chechnya. That looks like an area that is still could use some focus from Russia.

Cold War rhetoric right here: http://www.themoscowtimes.com/news/article/putin-s-state-of-the-union-address-live/512569.html

It proves that GoranZ is correct about this, but probably also about everything else.
