Dairy Queen is a symbol of the old guard, something that cannot survive in today's society.

I know we have Magnum condoms, I don't think we have Magnum ice cream yet, though.

Why does it say France was founded in 1958? What am I missing?

Also, Dairy Queen has 2.5 billion in revenue? wow, it's not really that good.

Is there a franchise of gelatos in the US?

We do have the ice cream bars. At least, the trendy areas of the US does (Detroit).

Bollocks.

i don't remember if they're nestlé or danone... but they are very popular in europe and have been existing for the past 20 years or so.
here we have haagen dazs (however you spell that!) and ben & jerry's, so if your dairy queen didn't make it on this side of the pond i guess it's probably crap. or not?

Dairy Queen is still relatively small (5,000 locations vs. 35,000 for McDonalds) so is only available in major markets right now.

It sucks. Burgers are burned and tasteless, ice cream is loaded with syrup for their blizzards. And it's probably like 20% more expensive than a comparable fast food chain.

Well, Haagen Daz and Ben & Jerry's are packaged and sold in grocery; Dairy Queen is prepared for in-store consumption. So it's hard to compare.

oh so it's actually a fast food with burgers and ice cream? well really never heard of it, and I lived a year in the US and tried a good dozen of fast food chains there.

here are two for you betiko,

http://www.nzn.com.sg/product/ice-cream/
and
http://www.tiptop.co.nz/product-category/

Because like most things New Zealand is way better than France

What makes ice cream from New Zealand so good? Why do New Zealanders eat so much of it, and why is it exported to so many countries?

The local market
At 23 litres per capita per annum, New Zealanders are amongst the biggest eaters of ice cream in the world, and most recent figures put us at the very top, ahead of Australia and the USA. Ice cream and edible ices account for about $1 of every $44 spent on food by New Zealand households (Statistics New Zealand).

This is not only testament to the quality of ice cream produced here over many years, but evidence of a discriminating local consumer base - New Zealanders love their dairy products and know their ice cream! As a result, the ice cream market is historically very innovative and extremely competitive for its size.

We maybe fat, but we still run circles around you guys on in most sporting events, and I'm sure saxitoxin will do a thread of what country is better New Zealand Vs France.

yes we are fat, but then we have so many good things to eat and drink, it's not our fault we make some of the worlds best wines and cheeses as well as all the prime beef/pork and lamb and fresh seafood

So far France has lost to Macedonia and Dairy Queen ... at this rate I think the next thread is going to be "France vs. Old Tire I Found in the Alley."
