Can we get a separate option for John Boehner's lips? That's all I saw most of the time.

And rather than deliver an address littered with policy proposals, administration official said Obama instead planned to talk more about the values that undergird his agenda and promote a story of economic recovery.

In a speech which he described as more focused on values than policies, Mr Obama declared...

I'll sum up:

Obama: State of the Union = good (also, he used the term "transgender" - the first time that word has been used in a state of the union address... therefore, we should all acknowledge that Obama is the best).

Republicans: State of the Union = bad

Free college?

Does this mean that those of us with unpaid student loans get that debt wiped out? That would be fair, yes?

We are talking about community colleges here, whose tuitions are generally set by statute and not easily controllable by the college administration.

Agreed, but it's more fun to point out the scam that is the federal student loan system. It's probably the most blatant ridiculousness that no one seems to care about. Right up there with how reality television is actually scripted.

Looks like Obama's SOTU was a home-run because he just scored an interview with Glozell!

Glozell will now be tied with Meet the Press for number of Obama interviews.

Ginsburg admits she was drunk during the State of the Union address ...

Earlier in the evening, Scalia had expressed his disdain for the event that he stopped attending years ago. And Ginsburg admitted, that once again, she fell asleep, "as I often do."

"The audience for the most part is awake because they are bobbing up and down and we sit there, stone faced," she said. "But we're not, at least I was not 100% sober," she said to big applause. She blamed a fine wine Justice Kennedy had brought to dinner before hand.

"I vowed this year — just sparkling water—stay away from the wine — but the dinner was so delicious it needed wine."
