BMW 335i Tech

My BMW 335i Twin Turbo recently broke down...

Despite the fact that it has a low mileage of 26k it still took a dump.

After doing some digging I found out the fuel injectors have an extremely high failure rate from the factory and that most owners of 335i's experience the same type of issue that I experienced...

Basically, injector #3 failed in the fully open position while I was driving which resulted in 7 gallons of raw fuel pouring into my engine & exhaust in a matter of 2-3 miles.

I called BMW customer service to see if they would cover this repair and they basically told me to go f*ck myself.

In the end, I ordered a complete set of "newly revised" factory injectors and installed them myself and the car once again runs flawlessly.

Any other BMW owners out there in CC land with similar stories to share?

I explained why I drive a rav4.

When I bought it I was looking for space. You can't beat this:

I've even bought long lumber pieces and with the copilot seat down, it fits in nicely.

At least this one doesn't suck.

Other that a couple of flat tires I've never had to stop in the road because of a failure. You probably have to call AAA if you get a flat because i assume you can't change a tire with your little fingers.
