In most of my posts, I'm trying to cast a broader net to make sure nobody gets missed, so I think I'll start posting elsewhere.

I think there's a bit of a difference between someone who's trying to do something to benefit the site as a whole, and someone who's only selling his own viewpoint. Just my opinion.

-----I said I know what Babble-on five is all about. I know some of you have been on here since 2006-300 games played/a few medals with 10,000 plus posts. I had permission to spread something fun. I see I am not the only one writing in English in Intern. I see I have some people overseas chatting it up a bit.They are apart of our club to and should not be left out. I guess a lot of you would have rained on the parade of HANDS ACROSS AMERICA, WE ARE THE WORLD AND FARM AID ALSO. Hell probably WOODSTOCK as well. I think I speak for most of the off topics denizens when I say the following:

(1) We will be online at 3pm eastern time if we are interested in participating in or reading the off topics forum and not because we're participating in Hands Across Conquer Club.
(2) It is more likely that the posting of this OP in the off topics forum will cause off topics denizens to NOT sign in at the appointed date and time, just because.

I'm confident in saying every off topics forum denizen knows how to play the game and started out playing the game. The question is, therefore, whether posting it in off topics will cause anyone to sign in at the appointed time and whether that number is more or less than who would otherwise have signed in at the appointed time. I think there are more people who will specifically NOT sign in at the appointed time because of this thread and therefore it's a net loss. That being said, people could sign in to prove me wrong. But then, of course, maybe people will think that was my intent in the first place and then they won't sign it.

Thanks for raising the specter of rules are meant to be bent, manipulated and expunged however the gods of conquer club feel.

This epitomizes this site in a nut shell. Make rules, enforce them on some and not others.

What the f*ck are the rules for if you are going to halfheartedly enforce them? Some are privileged and some aren't? Some are valued more than others? We are not all created equal? What's next? Are you going to base preferential treatment on colour? Nationality? Languages spoken? Sexuality?

RULES ARE RULES. You made them, live by them, or get rid of them.

It's 421. (Edit: It seems that "find all games" gives more games than the official count.)

I have to look up my details, but there are large gaps in my history.

Let's see, there was the year a half gap (2008-07-21) - (2010-02-07)
and then there was another year and a half gap (2011-01-19) - (2012-08-26)

So for most of those years I was a very casual player.
