Interesting but back then USA(or it predecessor state) wasn't existing, no wonder Mongols weren't interested for you.
On a side note Aztec rules of Mexico back then were eating live people from where you live now for breakfast.
If Chinese or Russians had a chance to chose who should occupy their land they would definitely not chose the Aztecs

The Mongols incorporated their territory into China's dynastical expanse. That's why outer Mongolia was part of China until as late as the establishment of the PRC, and inner Mongolia still is.
