If the Creator came down to Earth for administrative purposes, or to smite evil-doers or whatever, and he/she came down in human form, then which ethnicity would they be most likely to choose for their human form?

If you missed it, God already came down as Jesus. Jesus was white, blond haired, and blue eyes...whatever race that is.

Everyone knows that God looks just like George Burns ...

Ironically the devil also looks like George Burns because everyone wants to look like George Burns.

And somedays i dont really care...

And somedays i go by babylon 5 god is a child we are all creating the experience it needs to awake by living

and some days i dont care ... mostly i dont give sh&%¤t!

if god popped up he/she/it would end up in a straight jacket ... there prob solved!

Oh and somedays i love the sun! Or a fat lady...or a rock... or CC ... or something else

God's a hippie.

Seriously, who invents rainbows as a promise that He won't commit genocide via drowning again?

Unless it's not really a rainbow and it's not actually a "drowning."

It's almost as if you consider parts of the Bible to be works of fiction.

Republican Jesus recommends you pick and choose your religious beliefs. Some you should just do the opposite of what original Jesus recommends.

I think it's time for me to pull out my Bible. Good thing I have one online (saves from typing) this is from the New American Bible - Revised Edition in the preface to Genesis.

How should modern readers interpret the creation-flood story in Gn 2–11? The stories are neither history nor myth. “Myth” is an unsuitable term, for it has several different meanings and connotes untruth in popular English. “History” is equally misleading, for it suggests that the events actually took place. The best term is creation-flood story. Ancient Near Eastern thinkers did not have our methods of exploring serious questions. Instead, they used narratives for issues that we would call philosophical and theological. They added and subtracted narrative details and varied the plot as they sought meaning in the ancient stories. Their stories reveal a privileged time, when divine decisions were made that determined the future of the human race. The origin of something was thought to explain its present meaning, e.g., how God acts with justice and generosity, why human beings are rebellious, the nature of sexual attraction and marriage, why there are many peoples and languages. Though the stories may initially strike us as primitive and naive, they are in fact told with skill, compression, and subtlety. They provide profound answers to perennial questions about God and human beings.

That had, ironically, nothing to do with my comment. It was based on my musings about the "firmament." I mean the notion of a metal dome ... does that imply magnetism ... does that imply a magnetic dome. Well that's nonsense, the magnetosphere is clearly not an impenetrable barrier that ... oh crap it does and the symbol that the system is working can't be a ... oh yea the Aurora Australis /Aurora Borealis. I mean it's not like a change in the magnetosphere resulted in a mass extinction. Oh it just might be possible
