Windows into bathrooms

In recent months I've stayed at three different hotels that have had big windows in the wall between the bathroom and bedroom, allowing me to see into one from the other.

Why the fk do hotels think that's a good idea? Is there anyone (other than saxi) who actually wants to watch their travel companion relieve themselves?

Latest Chinese fetishes maybe? Here in the states, I have never seen anything like that at any of the hotels I've been too.

I don't have a good photo of it, but there was a very open bathroom in a fancy hotel in downtown London.

The Standard in LA has glass shower stalls, one wall of the shower also forming the wall between the bathroom and bedroom.

It's wonderful if you've invited your business associate to meet to go over meeting notes in your hotel room, they knock on the door, and you yell "come on in, I'll be right out of the shower" and then carry on as though it were a conventional bathroom as they wait.

I enjoy long, luxurious showers where I stand under the hot water and rub my hands over my head, stroking my magnificent mane and verbalizing the relaxation I feel by loudly declaring things like "mmmmm, I needed this." Then, stepping out of the shower, dressing, and returning to the bedroom I can just start in with "so were you able to update the PowerPoint?"

Is this your way of telling us you've been visiting the 'love hotels'?

there is a window like that in one of the bedroom's bathroom in my house in the alps. that bathroom has no toilets and the window starts more or less at one's shoulders, it's basically meant to let the real light in the bathroom coming from the bedroom.. and there is a way to close a curtain in it.
Also I have one of my friends who did a really neat thing in his bathroom. The bathroom has a large window looking towards the living room ad when you are in the bathroom, you push a button and the transparent glass becomes translucid because of a magnetic thingy within the glass.

If nobody is trying to kill you or your loved ones while you are in the bathroom, what's the point of your life?
