lol. There are more people in China than there are in all of North and South America combined. I'm not sure there's any such thing as a 'normal' Chinese person.

And yeah, I'm a sexy Beijing girl. You should see me in my qipao. Really something.

I dont know any Chines persons in RL enough to judge how you behave but from knowledge I can acquire your nation is hardworking, collaborative, not expansionist, you dont desire bad things for your neighbors and you dont underestimate your friends/enemies. Somehow you dont fit in into the last one(not always but sometimes). Who knows maybe Capitalism has an effect and recent rapid growth is giving false impressions that Chinese are littlebit better then others.

Although I agree with you that Tibetans should be left to decide what they want on their own... no western power(or person) complained when Tibet was part of Republic of China. Double Standards?

Although it's worth noting that the Western governments themselves don't actually say anything about Tibet. The only people complaining are boring hippies with too much spare time on their hands (although they apparently choose not to spend any of that spare time actually reading up on the issues that they are complaining about).

The very name of that sea should give you a clue as to who exactly is - and has a long history of - behaving like an expansionist in that particular region.

The Chinese civilization has historically always seen itself as something a little bit special compared to its neighbors. That said, complacency in dealing with the imperial powers cost China dearly during the 19th century and today's leaders are well aware of that.
