Can you think of any situations where it would be acceptable for a man to hit another man, or a woman to hit a man, but not for a man to hit a woman?

I was playing poker with a bitch last night, it was my turn to deal.. she said hit me, so i knocked her out.. I spent the rest of last night in jail...

Well I guess it's ok to punch a woman that is much more muscular or extremely fat(fat people can be astonishingly strong).
But the average woman would hit the floor after just one punch, it's almost like hitting a child. You don't fight people so much more inferior in strength.

Anyways, I said 'situations', not 'how big are they?'. For example, I'm pretty sure if a guy who is physically smaller than you tried to mug you then you would not think to yourself 'he is smaller than me, hitting him is unacceptable'.

Well you are mentioning a very special situation. Everything is allowed in self-defense even if you end up killing the other guy.

So your rule is to not hit people who are smaller than you, not to not hit women?

Im all into equality if a woman hits me i hit back .... tough shit if i have more muscle mass or tough shit for me if she has ....

But most often i dont hit people its way more civilized to talk them down:) and more satisfying!

Actually I don't hit at all. The only situation you'll see me fighting is if someone pushes me to my limits and I lose control over myself.
But yeah it's dishonorable to hit someone physically far inferior to yourself. It makes you look like a coward.

Not in Canada. People have been jailed for shooting when several 20 year old men break into a 70 year old's house and the old man shoots on in the leg. The old man went to jail, not the thieves.

Ive allways wondered if there is any statistic over women abusing men... there is loads about men abusing women. But i think it msut also occur the other way around ... not that often maybee but sometimes, would be fun to see statistics on it...

Rationally I guess it would make more sense. But I can assure you, men will be more likely to beat up the guy rather than the girlfriend.

If there is a chick with a knife and she's trying to stab that knife into your gut, hell yeah! Punch her square in the jaw and knock her out and take the knife from her if you have to.

Violence gets met with violence, doesn't matter if its a man or woman or even a child. Any of you tell me if you happened to be in Africa where they have the child soldiers and a little kid with an AK is shooting at you, wouldn't shoot that little kid if it came down to it? Hell, you'd call in an artillery strike against the little kid if you could.


I seem to remember a James Bond movie, funny as shit a scene that happened in one. Bond (Connery) and this woman were in a situation. Bond had to get her out of there or something (can't remember exactly) and she wasn't much willing to go so Bond gave her a right jab to the jaw and knocked her out and as he was doing it he said "Opps! you walked right into that!" as if he did it by accident. He was saving her life if I recall, but yeah, you can deck a woman to save her life.
Like the building is on fire and she's hysterical and won't leave. Screaming and such trying to push you way. Knock her out and carry her ass out of that fire if you have to. She'll thank you for it later.

In todays world u got forums for abused women all over! Which is good dont get me wrong...
but the intresting question is were is the fora for abused males ... the sauna with your pals? I belive that men who get abused are waaaaay more alone in todays society, just casue of what u wrote, no on will accept that a man can get physicly abused by a woman...

And they get no help:) and it would be intresting to see statistics over the amount...
