Ethiopia actually has one of the richest traditions of government in the world. The Ethiopian church is one of the more interesting ones and if they hadn't separated church and state, Ethiopia would probably be a grand place to live.

Kid deserved it. Never run to the back side of a cop when he is trying to restrain someone. I'd pull a gun to. Especially now days with everyone fucking with the cops.

Bullshit. When a pig acts outside the bounds of his duties (like body slamming a teen girl for an invalid reason), he ceases to be a cop and is an assailant. Rushing to aid of a girl being attacked is justifiable. Kids probably thought he was gonna kill her what with the recent actions of other pigs.

Whether the cop was right or wrong for trying to arrest or restrain the girl is irrelevant. He doesn't know if that girl has a weapon on here. Kids carry razor blades in their mouths now days. If she was falsely arrested she would probably be able to sue. Everyone wears their own corrective lenses and views the same scenario different. The cop probably doesn't know if the kids had a weapon when they decided to run around and antagonize him. The kids decided to take a chance. They instigated the gun being drawn. If you believe that the kids thought the cop was gonna kill the young girl then your basically saying the same thing for the cop. The cop probably thought his life was threatened. You choose the antagonistic point of view.

I'm implying the cops would probably do a cavity search because they are out of control. I have 2 kids. If that happened to one of them I'd cavity search that person with a Desert Eagle.

lolwut? It's at the heart of your rights as an American. Nobody has the authority to attack to, and only cops may arrest or detain you on suspicion of a crime. Do you not enjoy your rights as provided by the Constitution?

Granted, from what I know of the story, she was not allowed to be using the pool (trespassing?), but the cop told her to leave and she started to until he slammed her. I certainly don't believe minor trespassing in a bikini warrants a body check.

Cops shouldn't get some special right just because they're cops. If they attack someone outside the purview of law enforcement, they are just thugs with guns.

I'm not saying it's a wise decision to rush up on a cop from behind, I'm just saying the cop's actions are untenable and the kids were obviously in a panic. It's one thing to say she could sue in court for a hypothetical wrongful arrest (yeah, right), it's another to expect that she could've ended up choking to death while under a dog pile of cops. Which scenario do you think more relevant to impressionable black teens?
