A joke I heard last night:

A businessman is taking a taxi, and while talking to the driver is surprised to discover that the driver used to have a lucrative career as a broker on the HK stock exchange.

'But why would you want to leave a job like that to be a taxi driver?', asked the businessman.

'Life is a taxi driver is so much better,' replied the taxi driver. 'Sure, I have less money, but now I don't have bosses ordering me around, clients making demand after demand, regulators watching over my every move. Now I don't have to answer to anyone. Now I'm my own boss, I'm free.'

'That makes sense,' replied the businessman. 'Wait, not this way. Go straight then turn left at the next crossing.'

'Okay.'
