Capital Punishment Override: The James Holmes Case

Never thought this. Thought for sure this guy was toast. I don't support capital punishment, but if it is part of a state's legal arsenal...I thought for sure this guy would have gotten it.

Maybe it's because of all the weed they are smoking in the Rockies?

Why should Jurors choose the punishment? They dont know how to gauge the severity at all. Guilty or not guilty, that is their role in my opinion.

I would never ever agree to capital punishment for anyone.

Personally,im furious with this.
I live in CO,about a half hour from the theatre where this asshole went on his rampage.
Now my taxes are paying to keep this motherfucker fed and warm at night?
I say kill him.
Make a point that killing people does not make you a celebrity,it does not end up with you watching the discovery channel in prison into your golden years, it ends with your own life taken from you.
