Risk vs. Reward Scenario #3

Postby Funkyterrance on Wed Oct 07, 2015 10:04 am

For each scenario, choose whether the risk is worth the reward.

Scenario #1:

You run out of toilet paper in the morning and you know you won't be able to buy more till the next day. Do you steal a roll from your workplace?

Better yet, ASK to have one stating your dilemma...from work, neighbor, friend, family.....or use napkins, paper towels, living room drapes, etc....

I have one cactus and it has a will to live that honestly puts me to shame.

You just can't. Use your imagination. Maybe it's
IDNP and all the stores are closed early.

Just go to a MacDonalds 24 hour drivethrough. You'll get plenty of napkins. Perfect if your in a rush.

It's not stealing, as your employer has a vested interest in making sure you don't have a smelly ass when you go to work the next day.

6 yes, 1 no(my vote). You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
Ok, scenario #2...

Your mother calls you on your cell phone while on your way to your parent's house for dinner but your state has a "no hands" law and you've forgotten your hands-free decide at home. Your mother expressed concern earlier that day that she intends on making pierogis but was unsure if she was out of beets for the side. Do you answer the phone and possibly save the evening from disaster or do you ignore your poor mum in fear of seeing some blue?

If I was travelling to my mother's house I would be going by train and then taxi, so I would answer my phone with great haste.

I take it you live in London?

If it is safe to answer the phone (debatable if that is ever true) then it is safe to pull over to the side, turn the engine off, and call your mother back.

Yup. I lived in Birmingham before and didn't use a car there either though.

You'd borrow your neighbor Akhbar's camel?

Luckily I didn't have to arrange any sort of transport, because as soon as they realized I was haram I was dragged along the motorway by my hair and left somewhere outside the city limits.

Let's assume you live at the top of a steep mountain, your rents live at the bottom and the beet store is somewhere midway. Alright then, now that that's all cleared up...
