"In the Black" is an economic term referring to the use of black ink to signify a net income. The opposite, indicating a loss is "In the Red". Black Friday is traditionally marked by burning the Native American (Or as they are colloquially known, "Red Indian") themed decorations at the end of Thanksgiving. If you cannot find any Native American culture to burn, such as in the east coast, effigies can also be made of red-haired people, particularly the Irish.
Just remember to burn responsibly for a safe and authentic Black Friday

Just because it is the color of Islamic militants (such as ISIS) doesn't mean it's racist.

Why is being cheap and bargain-loving something inherently related to being black?
Check mate.

Just got back from my black friday shopping. I got lucky this year. Found a decent parking spot both times, and got in and out relatively quickly while having what i was supposed to get. Also Avoid Walmart Black Friday... Thats just madness.

Avoiding WalMart only means I have to spend more money on my already shrinking paycheck. You rich people can go and shop at some little mom and pop store to spend five bucks on a pack of gum; but for the rest of us Americans that haven't seen a real wage increase for seven or eight years...we're gonna shop at stores that offer better prices.

On my walk home from work I saw a guy almost crash his bike because there was a black guy in black guys on the cycle path. I found this amusing.

They could at least have gone to a hotel room. Think of the kids.

I said i avoid Walmart. I don't avoid all major grocery stores. I also do a lot of home cooking. And other things to keep my budget as low as i can. I understand the tight budget though.

Actually, I do much better than Walmart at my local stores and online, by shopping carefully, particularly when I add in the savings from not driving so far, etc. The trap of Walmart is that they start by offering cheap prices, but then go up once the competition is gone. Also, they are experts at offering a few cheap items along with many lower cost items that are actually more expensive. They rely on people coming to buy the bargains and then picking up "a few other things" besides.
