The problem KoolBak, is that it's hard having a reasonable debate based on faith or ideology.

Reading the religious topics here, make me fee like, I'm tripping on acid.

Understand this subject, and Politics and Religion will be meaningless.

I read the book multiple times. Never really liked the first movie, and have only seen pieces of the second movie. But, I have read all of his novels.

There are times when I wonder why the hell am I in this forum. Then I go attempt to shoot myself in the foot with a thread I expect to be nothing but a flame fest and *BANG* interesting serious discussion all around. I may not agree with the discussion, but it's serious and interesting.

The Latin word "Credo" stands for "I believe." It's really important. When people are yelling about what someone else believes, conversation collapses. When people talk about what they believe, even when you completely disagree, conversation can continue. I really hate politics where one side says what they other side thinks. Speak for yourself and threads will be better.

Fair, I wouldn't know. I was going off other people's assumptions.

Simple.. don't like politics and religion, then just avoid those threads. However, pretending that there is something wrong with these discussions does not fix anything. Silent people have opinions, but just never go through the challenge of justifying their positions.

I assumed it wouldn't need explaining (note; not a justification) on the basis it's a gross generalisation which - in any kind of intellectual conversation - is a stupid thing to do.
