Scream Queens and Star Wars? What is the connection?

Well, I've been watching the television horror spoof series called Scream Queens, but I was a little standoffish at first. I like horror and sci-fi shows, and wasn't sure how I would like a comedy-horror series. Beings I was running low on shows to watch on my Vudu cache, I decided to give Scream Queens a try (it did have Emma Roberts from AHS: Coven starring in it). It would be a change of pace for me.

So far, SQ has not entirely failed to deliver (the schtick sometimes gets a bit old-hat), but there are always moments in the show that do make me laugh. That's really a big winning point in my book, beings I am a hard individual to find genuine humor in many shows, movies, and stand-up acts.

I didn't notice her at first (because she has gotten a bit older and gained some weight), but I kept seeing the name Abigail Breslin. I knew that name from somewhere, but couldn't put my finger on it. Then one day at work, I was speaking with a co-worker about horror films she might like and I suggested a movie called Haunter. I remembered it had a young actress, but I couldn't quite remember her name. She did a great job in that movie and another movie called Janie Jones where she actually sang her own songs on acoustic guitar. I remembered her last name because it sounded like Breasts Land, but I couldn't remember her first name. I knew it started with a "A", but I couldn't quite place it. Was it Autumn or Allie? No! Those were wrong. It was a very unusual name. What was it? Abbie? Oh, yes! That's it! Abigail Breasts Land! Abigail Breslin!

Cool! Another actress that I liked!

Now, I have slowly come to the conclusion that I kind of have a thing for another actress. She plays the part of Saddie Swenson, the heiress of Swenson Frozen Dinners (not to be confused with Swanson Dinners). Her character plays this off-beat rich girl who is nicknamed Chanel #3. She always wears earmuffs, and I always wondered why. Well, they tell you why in the story (but I won't tell you because it will be a spoiler if you watch the show)...but I am thinking the REAL reason they gave her earmuffs (and the last episode she showed up to court not wearing earmuffs but had her hair done in whirls around her ears) is for a more personal reason entirely.

I looked up the actresses name. It is Billie Lourd. I looked at movies that she has or will be in...guess what popped up? Star Wars: The Force Awakens. However, her character is being kept secret.

But here's the real kicker. As I kept reading up on her bio...I found out she is REALLY the daughter of Carrie Fischer! (AKA: Princess Leia!)

Well, thought that was interesting and had to get that off my chest.

This topic started off well with Emma Roberts, but it went all downhill from there on. Such a tragedy.

Heroin, Anorexic, fashion model type of actress...yes, Emma Roberts is a slam dunk! She plays the perfect bitchy, self-centered, spoiled daddy's little rich girl. She is indeed the most beautiful of the trio; however, I wasn't talking solely on their looks. There are things I find appealing in their acting styles other than looks.

I had a hard time recognizing Abigail Breslin not only because she gained weight and was older, but I wasn't use to seeing her play a role of a spoiled, porky, rich girl...that really isn't her style. And as for Billie Lourd, I didn't even know who she was until today. She's not that hot (especially when she smiles with teeth showing), but when she smirks and flaunts those brown doe-eyes at you...it kind of makes up for it (especially if you were drunk and horny in the pub).

Oh, and the college dean is played by:
