Howard Hughes is pretty fascinating. Tough to beat his life yet he lost his mind a bit and maybe it was because he had it too good. Are humans unable to handle too much great things. Money, airplanes cars and ladies? Seems too good to be true and maybe it was too good to survive.

i had a job interview w/Baker Hughes and the lady interviewing me had no idea that the Hughes in Baker Hughes was HH's family. i kinda chortled and gave her a reflex eye roll in regards to her obvious cluelessness. needless to say, i didn't get the job. doh.

Sometimes a moral victory is better than filthy lucre. Still, you shouldn't have gone half way. You should have really given her a good lecture on lazy assholes who don't bother to learn the history of the company they're working for. Then for sure you wouldn't have gotten the job, but you might have woken her out of her self-centred shell and make her start thinking about the world around her. Might have changed her life.
