President Donald J. Trump tweeted the price of oil was too high.

“Oil prices are artificially Very High! No good and will not be accepted!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

The price of oil then dropped.

Drive the price of oil down? Yes, apparently.

There's just something about that pic that makes me think he can't actually drive.

This is how Trump is getting to the 2020 inauguration -

Well, he won last time partly because of one reality show, wouldn't be entirely surprised if he used Drag Race for 2020.

Deathrace would be fitting. Imagine Trump blasted into hamburger by David Carradine's trick hand!

I think the Deathrace franchise already went there-

Cool, I'll have to watch that if I ever see it.

The first one from the 70's, which Corman also produced, is one of those great bad movies that he specialises in. Don't go out of your way, but it's a fun watch if you just want to basically see Wacky-Racers with gore, and also what Sylvester Stallone did before he got famous with Rocky.

Yeah, I saw the original when it was in its first run. I haven't yet seen the second one, and I didn't know there was a third, but the first one is one of the great memes of my generation. Even in driving school, every time we'd pass a pedestrian and let him live, we'd all look at each other and say wistfully, "another 70 points you missed."

There were a bunch of remakes in between, which were dark and gritty, and had Jason Statham, till they couldn't afford him, and hired a guy called Luke Goss, who used to be in a British boyband called "Bross" with his twin brother. David Carradine has a cameo in the first one. Wiki says there's a fourth movie in the re-make series, with a new front man.

The first one was ok, but there are better Statham movies for anything you want from a Statham film. The rest are diminishing returns on a concept that needed humour.
