If you haven't tried a carne guisada your missing out. Simply the best! Warm meat with gravy served on a hot tortilla. Beware though, some don't view them as breakfast food.

Interesting. Never heard of that although we make carne ASADA all the time (thin sliced marinated beef, grilled, for tacos, etc). Looked it up; latin beef stew with cumin / chili powder hit.

I'm a little sceptical when the item on the menu just translates to "stewed meat".

That said, I'd probably try it.
