Im certain some people here will think this is not true as its reported by a commie spying sneaky type journalist, others wont understand the implications, or plain not care

What Im wondering is if anyone has seen this reported from any western news source?

I am aware that talk has gone on for years but the environment has always taken precedent, like pebble beach lottsa lottsa gold but the salmon are considered more important.

So anyone hear anything from msm? its been about 3 days since Russian news has reported it.

I don't know what msm is, but I presume it's some media outlet you don't like. There are something like 10,000 media outlets in the U.S.; I'm sure there's at least one or two that will meet your exacting criteria.

I guess the reason this hasn't attracted a lot of comment is that everyone expected it. Trump appointed an oil-company lobbyist to head the EPA for the specific purpose of dismantling environmental protections and letting the oil companies do whatever they want. That lobbyist (Pruitt) got caught with his hands in the cookie jar too often and was pushed out, but his presumed replacement (Wheeler) is cut from much the same cloth. Pruitt was an oil-company lobbyist, Wheeler was a coal-company lobbyist. Both are implacable foes of the environment, and it was all only a matter of time. The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge might not have been pronounced dead yet, but since February 17th 2017 the undertakers have been measuring it for its coffin.

"mainstream media" - basically anything except the Utne reader and Mother Jones... although the latter is now considered msm also I think.

My question was "has anyone seen anything on MAIN STREAM MEDIA?" ya know, fox,cnn,bbc etc tv news. but I guess not.

While I'm with you on most of the substance here Duk, Democracy Now is actually a decently reputable, long-running American leftist news organization with some "big" names in the modern leftist movement attached. If they are revealed to be a Russian influence outfit, it would certainly be very surprising. Even though armati posted them, which would naturally lead one to assume it's Russians.
