Sounds like the crater was created by impact with a very metal-rich asteroid.

Could be a hell of a mining colony waiting to happen.

ever seen the movie " The Time Machine"... ?
I wouldn't recommend mining the moon., it doesn't turn out so well...

good movie. worth watching..

I wouldn't recommend mining the moon., it doesn't turn out so well...

good movie. worth watching..

The movie wasn't that great but the scene where he runs onto the street and there's chaos and the Moon is super close to the Earth was awesome.
