The story of it getting wrecked is interesting too. Also it broke in half 48 hours after running aground. A time lapse of it's erosion would be pretty cool,
Ship wrecks are interesting, I think the only one I have seen in real life is the one off the shore of the Hawaiian island Lanaii. I flew over it in a Cessna once. My wife took pictures riding in the back seat.

The Peter Iredale was unearthed during a storm and is on the beach we go driving on frequently....
Underwater photos of wrecks creep me TF out...I can't help but imagine the terror and tragedy...
My great uncle, who my dad was close to as a kid, is still in the cockpit of his fighter at the bottom of the Pacific. Catch gear on the carrier failed on a landing and,,poof

Agreed. I love being on deck riding a ferry but the thought of being anywhere near a boat going down... <shudders>
