Good that the "war" is over. That piss hole wasn't going to change. Why it took two decades and several generations to figure that out, I'll never know.

I agree with DDS on this point. President Obama should have pulled out of there after after Osama bin Laden was killed. I see no other reason to be in Afghanistan. I have heard the argument that we are stopping Arab extremists, like the Taliban or Al Queda; I disagree. The presences of US Soldier in those lands encourage more generations of their Freedom Fighters.

We should have NEVER gone into Iraq to topple Saddam Hussein either. That was another WASTE of US lives and LOTS of US money.
