Cowboy France attacks UK, violates international agreements

After months of trying - and failing - to get the EU to back it in blackmailing the UK into giving its fishing vessels preferential access to UK waters, the French government has resorted to undermining a UK-EU agreement and inciting French fishermen to commence illegal fishing operations in UK waters.

Even The Guardian, a UK newspaper renowned for being written for soft lefties who love effeminate things like France, has been compelled to decry the French failed state for its awful behaviour:

Paris, London and Brussels have dropped talk of a trade war and appeared to settle a dispute over post-Brexit fishing licences, but angry French fishers threatened to go ahead with a pre-Christmas blockade of British goods entering Calais.

The offer did not fully meet the demands of Emmanuel Macron’s government, however, and fishers in Brittany said they would go ahead with a planned blockade of Calais on 23 December.

That is kind of similar to my joke.

They are using the English/American spelling because he is supposed to be in the land of Cowboys, the USA. One of the pictures shows him in a cotton field with four figures in hats/robes.

But yes, I was unaware of that French comic.

Is it any good? I certainly love Astrix and Obelix.

It's excellent. I prefer it to Asterix. Not that many have been translated though.
