Best film portrayal of a Psychopath?

I'm looking for most realistic, true to life votes... not which was your favorite movie. Feel free to answer with TV shows also.

I voted Hannibal and Mr Rippley. They seemed nice enough but one of them was a cannibal, that's fairly psycho.

I feel like there were some very well portrayed psychos in Inglorious Basterds too.

Finally a poll that is accurate. Voted only for No Country. Hands down.

Gotta say however that my FAVORITE was Madsen as Mr. Blonde in the ear scene of Reservoir Dogs. That one stuck ....

What happened to Hitred's submission of One hour photo?

Koolbak... I agree and voted for that one. Such a chilling performance

Definitely the correct answer is Christian Bale here. The only other option that might be missing is Kevin Spacey in Se7en. Also there's a Casey Affleck movie where he plays a cop who beats up his girlfriend/prostitute.

Christian Bale or Antony Perkins for me.

Des with David Tennant is a very accurate portrayal of Dennis Nilson.

DeNiro in Taxi Driver and Ed Norton in Primal Fear. Tom Hardy's character in Peaky Blinders... not sure if he's a psychopath, but definitely one of my favorites.
