And did anyone hear that the current Nominee to the SCOTUS (during her confirmation hearings in front of the US Senate) cannot define a "woman"? I find that very odd.

Trans women should be playing in an open league. If they're going to compete, they should be doing so "out of competition" in the women's league, in an open league, or enter the men's league which is already open in many categories. Women's league should be for biological females only. They can argue all the want, but a trans woman just has too many advantages. Sick and tired of the arguments around it and how we should keep our mouths shut, because speaking up is "phobic." Being realistic isn't transphobic.

I don't agree with the right on so many things, especially the far right that hovers around CC. I don't care for how trans women have been addressed in this thread, for example. That's not acceptable. But I also don't agree with this "suck it up cupcake" attitude when it comes to sports. That's probably the only thing I'm like "wait a minute" about. Regardless of how people WANT things to work, they just don't work that way. People who are genetically male, even if they've gone through a complete transition will have a stronger, faster frame than the average female athlete.

If you read the comments on this on other places on the internet, you'll see that the vast majority of people agree, and that includes leftists.

Sports can be inclusive, but it needs to be inclusive in a way that is fair to everyone.

Reminds me of that fuss a few years back when some sore losers claimed a biological woman shouldn't have been allowed to sprint against them because she had high testosterone levels. Apparently as far as some female athletes are concerned, the only people who should be allowed to compete against them are people they're capabale of beating.

He wasn’t breaking records as a man… but just making the Penn Team as a man put him in an elite-swimmer category.
