I think it has to do with the fact that twinkies fucking suck when you put them in a car's gas tank.

Also, if you don't eat them while they're fresh, they taste pretty bad. Like eating a real sponge.

snowballs and the chocolate cupcakes where way better. twinkies were just easy to pack in a lucnbox. plus it's an easy word to say. just kind of falls out of your mouth... so it's like free advertisement.

i've probably only eaten 10-15 in my life. i've never purchased one with my own money though.
