Thoughts on round of 8 matchups. Before looking at any of the games.

Untouchable v Dkmaster. Think Untouchable will edge it but Dk is a formidable opponent. I hope he can put Untouch out for me.
KizKiz v Clanlord Carl. Looking great for the good guys ! Kizkiz didn't notice the weighted dice i slipped him !
Wheelwright v Barclaw too close to call. But Barclaw is the current runnerup so might edge it.
Iron maid v t4mcr53s2 think the former champ will get this.

I fully agree here. As long as CC refuse to solve the problem with number of starts pr. player. ( e.g. I got 5/21 starts now in 1v1)

I know you cant compare 1v1 and Poly. But with those small maps out there and a risk to get so few starts, it for sure would be great to have a chance to come back into the game with another batch.

We did wait a looong time to compete against the best again :D

That really is unfortunate 5/21 is
P(<=5) = 1.33% or about 1 in 75

I have our match dropping 11-10 which obviously im happy with given 10 first starts.

I like the round robin then direct elimination format as well.
Pros: Allows for more games for everyone, which makes promotion to round of 16 less subject to dice and start, and pushes out the direct elimination to later rounds, that have slightly higher game loads (so a bit less randomness).
Cons: By keeping players longer, you probably drag out the rounds more than necessary

11-10 it is
I'm actually amazed it was that close after those first two turns!
Personally I blame Scotland. Not entirely sure how I cocked that one up :lol:
