Welcome to my first Duo Conquest – Alliance or Collapse tournament, a 2-player team tournament.

In this competition, your strategic skills will be tested on a variety of maps and settings chosen not only by your team but also by your opponents.

show: Registered Team

Sign-Up Rules
Format: 2-player teams
Due to the high number of games per round, Premium only

At registration, each member of the team must provide one map and its complete game settings (see list below).

All settings are allowed except Speed and a Round Limit greater than 30.

Settings to provide at sign-up:
Map
Troop Deployment
Play Order
Spoils
Reinforcements
trench/no trench
fog/no fog
Round Limits (max. 30)

Number of Teams & Reserves
Open to a maximum of 16 teams.
Minimum 8 teams to start.
If 16 teams are not reached, the first 8 or 12 registered teams will be retained.
Additional teams will be placed on a reserve list and may replace disqualified teams.

Round Format

There will be two batches of game invitations per round.

Players must join their games within 48 hours of the invitation; failure to do so will result in disqualification.

Tournament Format
Type: Group stage progression (random grouping each round).

Groups: Each round, teams are randomly divided into groups of 4 teams. If 16 teams are registered, it means we will start with 4 groups

Maps: Each player’s chosen map is used during the round, so 8 maps will be played per group.

For each map:

One 2v2v2v2 game (all 4 teams)

Three 2v2 games (each team faces each of the other three teams once)

Game Management
To make scheduling manageable, each round will be split into two batches:

Batch 1: 4 maps (16 games), the first chosen by each team

Batch 2: remaining 4 maps (16 games)

You will have 48-hour join rule applies to each batch separately. Otherwise, you will be disqualified

Scoring & Advancement
Points system:

Win in a 4 team game = 3 points
Win in a 2v2 game = 1 point

At the end of the round, some of you will be eliminated, as follow:

First round: 4 groups of 4 teams : No elimination
Second round : 4 groups of 4 team (different form 1st round, but still randomly created). Score is kept from 1st round, top 12 team advance to round 3
Third round : 3 groups of 4 team. Score reset, top 8 advance to round 4
Fourth Round : 2 group of 4 team. Score reset, top 4 advance to final round
Final Round : 1 group of 4 team. Score reset. The top 1 team will win the tournament

Tie-breakers:
Total number of player eliminations in the round
Head-to-head result between tied teams
New 2v2 on a random map & settings if still tied.

Alone subscription is accepted but then, their team will be done randomly at the start of the tournament.

I was going to sign up with a partner, but it seems you're tailoring the tournament settings as best as possible for your own victory - especially allowing freestyle.

Best of luck getting this tournament started, and good luck to anyone else signing up LOL.

I understand your concern, but I think there’s a misunderstanding here.
In this tournament, every team chooses their own map and full settings, with the intention of giving themselves the best chance to win on their chosen setup. That applies equally to all teams, including mine — so there’s no built-in advantage for me over anyone else.

If anything, it makes the tournament more balanced and interesting, because everyone gets to play on both familiar and unfamiliar settings.

I understand, but I think allowing freestyle will alienate a lot of potential sign-ups.

If you decide at any time to drop the freestyle, I would also sign up.
