Conquer Club

I wont start this tournement until My mafia game finishes but I would like to get sign ups going for this as I will need a lot of people to make it work. Obviosly this is a clan tournement. Each clan can have as many teams as they want. Each team will consist of a captin, a co captin, and 3 other players. The three other players will be ranked by the captin 1 being the best and 3 being the worst. Depending on how many teams I get for this I might have to change this around but Im hoping that the setup coul be something like this:


each team would play the other 2 in thier bracket twice. Once with the first teams settings and once with the second teams chosen setting

the best(most points not wins) 2 from each bracket moving on.

each match could work something like one of these options

A-Captin vs Captin-winning team recieving 3 points
co-captin vs co-captin-winning team recieving 2 points
player1 vs player 1-winning team recieving 1 point
player 2 vs player 2-winning team recieving 1 point
player 3 vs player 3-winning team recieving 1 point

B- Captin vs Captin-winning team recieving 5 points
co-captin vs co-captin-winning team recieving 4 points
player1 vs player 1-winning team recieving 3 point
player 2 vs player 2-winning team recieving 2 point
player 3 vs player 3-winning team recieving 1 point

C captin/co-captin vs captin/co-captin-winning team recieving 2 points
player 1/2 vs player 1/2-worth 2 points
player 3 vs player 3-worth 1 point

Please vote in the poll. This tournement is not limined to "official" clans. Clans like spamalot are welcome to get teams together. each person can only be on one team. You must be in the clan that you are playing for.

i would like to be in this tourny, but i got to ask, is this all dubs/trips or somthing, cause i only play singles and ffa's. if there are those 2 types in there i will sign up

Depending on which option wins the vote it might be. It probably will be since in looks like option C isnt getting any support.

Are you saying that I would get privledges because this is a clan tournement? It is being run like a regular tournement except that everyone on the team must be from the same clan.

No, I'm saying you would not get priveleges for this tournament right now.
After the next update, which will be sometime this month, we'll be looking into phpBB Rivals and experimenting with a fully automated tourney and clan system. There are several clan tourneys going on without priveleges, so it's not impossible to do it without, but you'll need to be organized to manage it.

There are several clan tourneys going on without priveleges, so it's not impossible to do it without, but you'll need to be organized to manage it.

Okay so I will just have to either wait until phprivals comes out or just do this tournement in private games instead of tournement.

No, that won't work. Tourney games may only be created for the tournament they were given for. Just wait for Rivals, or organize it through private games.

No, that won't work. Tourney games may only be created for the tournament they were given for. Just wait for Rivals, or organize it through private games.

oh good! I just hope we can get some compotion from some other clans. Otherwise its more of a "LoD" tourny rather than an interclan tourny.

The JFC will likely submit several teams. If the new tourny system is installed beforehand, it would help greatly rather than having a lot of private games.

As of this posting, the RS will not be participating.

HOWEVER:

IF the new clan ladder system is installed and there is still a reasonable amount of time left to join, then you can expect us to be here. The number of teams that may attend has yet to be decided.
