WM's - Random Escalating Special
Posted: Wed Jul 23, 2008 8:39 amThis is a multi-player Single Elimination tournament, once you are eliminated you cannot come back.
Win your game, or you might be out. That is the concept of this tournament.
Information:
Number of Player: 32 + 4 Reserves
Game Load: 1 Game at the time.
Requirements: 1 Open Game Slot
Game Play:
The 32 players are randomly assigned to 4 groups with 8 in each. Each round you will play 1 game with everyone in your group.
The winner of each game has a safe place in the next round. The others however, has to depend on luck to survive in the tournament. Out of those who lose in each group, 1 will by random be eliminated from the tournament. Who is eliminated is decided by Random.org
1 Player from EACH group will be eliminated each round.

Round 5, then new groups will be made. The 16 players still remaining will be divided into 2 groups of 8 in each. This will also be done with the help of Random.org
Round 9, then the 2 groups will be combined into 1 group of 8.
Final Round, round 12, then there is 5 people left. The winner of the next game will be the winner of the tournament!
