This is so stupid I don't even have words for it. Take any given sport and there will always be people who love it and people who don't care for it. There are sports I like and dislike to watch and sports I like and dislike to play.. That doesn't mean I have to make threads about how stoopid a certain sport is.

You are so arrogant, there is a world outside the states too, you know. The most pathetic part is that soccer is one of (if not THE) most popular sport in the world, so obviously it can't be that bad. We all know that you are used to our football and probably grew up in the U.S, but here's a newsflash for you: a lot of people from other parts of the world think that's a stupid sport.. I bet if you grew up in Britain (or any other part of the world, actually) you would be watching soccer matches every week.

Personally I don't think any sports are "stupid", some may be less entertaining than others. But most people play sports because they like it, and what could possibly be stupid about doing something you enjoy and staying in shape, while entertaining other people as well?

Btw I used to play soccer, and I think it's a lot more fun than football. I get bored by watching football games, but I don't complain because I'm not the only person who exists, a lot of people love it and think it's entertaining. I say good for them. Yay.

If you are going for the intelligence angle, having American Football as your better alternative is not exactly going to win you too many arguments.

American Football is good but has too many stops in it. It is similar to Rugby League except without the play calling and time outs and deciding what you are going to do and everything. In rugby you get tackled and then give the ball to someone else and they run.

But football can be shit. And I mean very shit because all they do is pass the ball back and then forward and then back and then forward. You can't do that in American Football, But football can also be great. Way better than NFL. When it gets into it and its the last minute and you need one goal to win it gets intense. And penalties are probably the best (and worst if you are english) part.

I've been watching some American football last year. It was so boooring.

On the other hand football that is played in Europe and rest of the world is a world renown sport. Game might end in a draw, but it can be a hell of the game. Sometimes it isn't about the score. It's about the beauty of passes, dribbles, goals.

For example
American football: guy gets a ball, throws it to other guy who just needs to run to other side of the pitch. btw Where is foot in all that? They use their foot it maybe in 1% of the whole game.

I take it you can't read or understand what you read either. I don't believe that I mentioned in any post at any time that NFL fans are smarter than soccer fans, nor did I imply it. I said that soccer fans are unintelligent. Football was never mentioned. Can anyone besides me understand the meaning of a written word. This is at least ten consecutive post on this thread where someone made a foolish comment simply because they either didn't read what i said, or didn't understand what I said.
