Ill give this to Spurg because he got two of the three, they beat the Pats and the Kick Returner and former Heisman winner Desmond Howard got the MVP. And yes, I was reffering to the Packers, whose hall of Fame player was Reggie White, RIP.

Attaboy djt, we'll take any sort of support we can get with most of the country against us. Not that we need it, or anything. [scoffs]. But yeah, those late 90's teams were fun. "Mrs." Terry Glenn, the great (but immobile as hell) Drew Bledsoe, Pete Carrol before he realized how easy to cheat it is in college. Ahh, memories.

Julius Erving went to Umass, but I don't know if he was born there

Marvin Hagler was born in Massachusetts, so I would guess him.

Good guesses, but Dr. J is from New York, and Hagler is not #1. I think Bourque's Canadian, too.

It goes downhill pretty fast after the top 6 or so, but there are some decent sports figures from MA, relative to its size. The question should read "Sports Figures", by the way. And the list was released in 2000, if it makes a difference, although I can't think of any amazing figures to come out of Massachusetts in the last eight years.

I really cannot think of anyone else from Massachusetts. Naismith (inventor of basketball) maybe? I have been to Springfield to the Basketball Hall of Fame, so if it is sports figures . . .
