I have no life either BUT I DON'T SPEND ALL MY TIME TALKING WITH AUTISTIC PEOPLE AUGH! Seriously, why do you people make these topics? You spend 4 hours typing something that only one other person will read and then that one person will spend another 4 hours doing the same thing. This forum consists of thousands of posts made by pretty much the same 5 people.

I would say a good portion of hecter's post's is answering the questions of people who need help in q&a and Plugins

Also, if I understand the system correctly, the permaban would have been carried out by an admin (most likely Twill). Now I just hope that a good discussion can ensue. Going to every thread and yelling "FREE NORSE!" is not going to bring him back and is just going to piss people off. We need the community to talk about this and express their views in this thread or any other threads on this matter. It would also be nice if the people who agree with this band to speak up. I'm sorry wacicha, but you can't force people to provide a two sided argument. If the people who don't want Norse here aren't speaking up, well, then obviously they either don't exist or they don't care enough about the issue to speak up about it. There are threads about this in GD, IK and soon to be FW (if there isn't already) I'm sure. That pretty much covers the CC forum population.

lol, You may of course set up camp (or base) I assume you do know the rules for forum posting, All I ask is you abide as closly as possible to those rules , try to keep to subject matter. And I will leave you alone.

-Well, this post has taken me about five minutes to write, so that knocks out the "4 hours" claim. Also, this thread has 206 views, so that is a lot more than the "one person" that will read our comments.

-um... last time I checked, there were way more than 5 people posting here, and the posts are pretty well spread out over most of the active members (that visit the forums). Also, with over 1 million posts, for those to be split up over 5 different people, they would have over 200 THOUSAND posts each. The highest number is just around 19,000 posts, but that one is an exception... second highest is almost 5 thousand less than him. and both of them have been around for at least a year and a half (the second place (14k) has been around for over 2 years. plenty of time to post a lot)

How about, before you attempt to make any harsh, incorrect generalizations about the members of the Conquerclub forums, you get out and explore the site a bit more. There is much more to do around here then you may think.

Take your own advice, also. Instead of spending "another 4 hours" (as you so miraculously concluded about the ability of members of this site to compose a decent message) typing up a response to this, why don't you just go and do something in real life, something "important". No one is forcing you to spend all your time posting messages on this forum. You are free to (hopefully) leave the forums to the rest of us that "have no lives".

I don't think youll get wacicha defending too many people for racist comments... whether they are meant to be simply humorous, or purposefully offensive.

Your poll will always be skewed, because it only shows the results of those who voted in it, and not the many, that would never waste their time voting in a poll for someone who posted something so obviously racist.

He was probably joking, but got many warnings. He knew it was only a matter of time. The verbal oppression of another race will clearly not be tolerated here, and I dont think we need a poll to show us that nearly every rational player would agree that there is no place for it, in here, or in real life.

I think you mean banned and not band, but the removal of RK from this site was the best decision that Lack has ever made.

at the very least this should probably be in IK. Yes its on topic to the people at CC, but only to those who are involved with norse...which is likely to occur in Flame Wars or in IK. To bring it to a forum where many people arent going to know anything about him or the issue....is reading to much into the letter of the law, and not the intent of it.

Which in some capacities, could be the very issue behind the whole banning. Not that he doesnt deserve to go for a time, he does.

True Nap, but this is an international community here, and we want everyone who comes into these forums to feel comfortable enough to hang out and post. Not everyone appreciates hateful biggoted remarks and wants to be attacked with racism while reading a discussion in Off-Topics. And if you can't converse and make your points known w/o resulting to bigotry, well then we don't want you here. And if you think racism is funny, then I surely hope you're in the minority.

agreed with you Wicked. The flame war forum is a complete joke and waste of time. Many times I have asked to move threads there just simply for the fact I will never read them there. This is where all the forum trolls hang out posting all day running up a stupid post count on a gaming forum because they suck at playing the actual game here. So they post and flame because they still cant figure out why they were picked last in gym class.

JR you do have to realize that some people did migrate to other things after they originally came for the games.

You can place a value on whatever part of the site, forums, or anything that you wish....you just need to realize it may not be the same as everyone else or any single person for that matter.

Just because you are one of the better players on the site (which seems rather reasonable to claim) doesnt really entitle you to much of an opinion over the areas of the forum/community you dont really interact with.
