When does army bonus get taken into account????

Is the bonus calculated right before your turn or is it calculated in the beginning of the round? Im new to CC and i kinda need to know to help me with my strategy

Thanks, well that just totally screwed up bonus lol. And thanks for the welcome. CC has a great pace for my schedule so i hope to be here for awhile. Oh and dont mind my aside, i dont want the post to get locked for being off topic.
