You had every right to do what you did. Its not like you had the power to make it a battle royale or anything. I still annoyed, though, 'cause I wish I had done it first. :P

Read the thread you are in, as well as this thread and you will know what it's all about.

As leader of the Imperial Dragoons, I'll take this moment to say that the action taken wasn't condoned by the leadership. Yes, the password was very weak and exploiting the paltry algorithm just wasn't right and for that I apologize. Hilarious, but not right. A warning has been issued and I'm sure this won't happen again. You are certainly free to put whomever you wish on your ignore lists, but I view this mostly as a practical joke that was pulled off beautifully. A CC legend has been born.

The passwording of game #2,000,000 means nothing as 2,000,000 is just a number and I think that this might serve as a wake up call to those creating clan games to be a little more creative when selecting random passwords.

In the meantime, Go 'goons!

Hey pops, how you doin? :D

Few questions for ya.

Not really sure what you mean by a practical joke pulled off beautifully. You first said that the action wasn't condoned by the leadership and that a warning was issued, but yet you still think it was a "good idea" or a "great prank". That just seems odd to me.

Also, what CC legend was born? Like you said, 2,000,000 is just a number. I would be just as upset if it was any other game they hijacked, because...well...IT'S STILL HIJACKING a game. If you were meant for the game, you would have been given the password, and wouldn't have to guess it. Even more frustrating than Jamie joining the game is inviting the remaining two players to a game he wasn't invited to...

Looking back at what I wrote, I never said it was a "good idea", those are your words, not mine. Leadership was not behind the action and I have issued a warning on our forum that this is not acceptable and again, I don't forsee this happening again. This thread is up to 6 pages and climbing and will be remembered, that was the reason for the CC legend being born.

Calling it a "practical joke that was pulled off beautifully" implies approval, at least at some level. And this thread is up to 6 pages because its about the 2,000,000th game, and all that entails. It was about the potential for a br, the competition to claim that game, TheBro's victory in that, and most recently Jamie's little "joke." I would hardly call it a legend. It's barely a groan of annoyance.

I know you never said it was a good idea, yes those were my words. You did however say:

1) Hilarious, but not right.

2) I view this mostly as a practical joke that was pulled off beautifully.

That led me to believe you may not have "officially condoned" the action, but you don't have anything against it and therefore I figured you thought it was a "good idea". If this is untrue, I apologize.

I believed you the first time you said a warning was issued, I mean your word was law for so long, you could be lying this whole time and I would still believe you

Finally, you never answered my other question...so I'll post it again :P

I can appreciate a hackers ability to break into a system, but that doesn't mean I approve of it. You can insinuate and say "this implicates that you think this", but that doesn't make it so. And 14 days after you join CC, you're the legend expert on here? I've said what I wanted, I'm done.

And ok, I apologize for the false accusations. I guess it's never good to assume something. I should have known from the start that you wouldn't agree with something like that, although (like myself) sometimes appreciate what somebody is able to do.

As a sidenote to Jamie, even FP called you a hacker...since he cannot tell a lie, I guess I was right all along :P

i understand why yall are upset about this, i mean jamie is horrendous at defending himself. but it let it be made clear that this is not an action or the type of behaviour that we as the HONORABLE IMPERIAL DRAGOONS often engage ourselves in. but. this was a landmark game, it was the big 2 triple zero triple zero! im sure if jamie had realized that this would be so frowned upon he never would have joined, however, we are all friends and i think we can all get over this, this time. you all know that it wont happen again, and i personally on behalf of the imperial dragoons apologize for this rare instance of foul behaviour.

Let me address the bolded parts in order

1) Very true (enough said) :P

2) I know it isn't an action that the majority of people would do, and it wasn't something as a clan that you decided...I feel that it doesn't reflect the clan in anyway, but just reflects Jamie as an individual.

3) I also think we can get over it. Our beating them will help some :P but like I've said, the game number doesn't matter to me...it's just the fact that he hijacked a game in general.

4) Like I have already told FP (via PM), it's not something you are responsible for...therefore nothing you should apologize for. I do however appreciate your apology, although it is unneeded.

but didn't he give the pw to other dragoons and some joined? I assume he posted in your subforum. Why didn't someone step up then and say something?

Jamie's been caught blatantly lying on here before (remember the whole "I'm acting like an ass for a class experiment" lie?), so I seriously doubt he'd do anything differently if presented with the same situation again.

I understand the Dragoons trying to CYA here, as it really does smear the whole "honorable" thing, but Jamie is Jamie. I thought he was going to be kicked out awhile ago for some other infraction?

I just haven't accused anybody else for doing this dishonorable act because I can't verify they knew they weren't supposed to join (although it's most likely true). If they blatently did what they did, and knew it was wrong, then they will also get a neg and the ignore list (for the time being).

What's done is done; saying that the Dragoons are honorable and that the leader doesn't approve means nothing. As of right now, I certainly do not see the Dragoons as a whole as honorable.

And don't defend Jamie. He's a big girl now, he can defend herself, Jamie must have had the foresight to know it would be frowned upon. Come on, would such an idiot make it into the honorable Imperial Dragoons? I seriously doubt that.

To understand the joke thing, you would have to see the thread I started in the Dragoons private forum. I posted the PW there, when I thought all 3 players on the other team were from Legends of War. It was suppose to be a prank on LoW by the Dragoons. I didn't realize penguin was in another clan.

Like I said...it's not that it's this game...it's that it happened in general.

I can see where the confusion was, but The Untouchables is, and will remain better than both LoW and The Dragoons :D

But yeah, if there was an apology made in this thread stating that you hijacked the game, and will never do it again...and that you are sorry for doing so, I won't give you a neg, and won't put you on my ignore list (if that even matters at all to you).

If my perfect feedback is going to go down, what a way for it to go down. Well worth it. I'll look at the neg FB's with pride. I see no reason to defend myself for anything. I think it's funny. I pulled off what is currently CC's biggest prank. Jamie "Hijacked" game number 2,000,000. To quote a movie title, "I am Legend"

Ok, I thot it was a fair compromise, but whatever.

And like I have said, multiple times, the game matter means NOTHING to me...it's the fact that you hijacked a game in general.

We are currently in a clan challenge, but if you want to get beat, post it in our thread in Callouts...I'm sure the clan would probably accept (although I am not allowed make that call myself).
