Slate

In a quadrupales speed game (2136230) somebody said that our team would have won the game "had it not been for slate". I was grey and they were being idiots at me despite the fact that I was the only man left standing. I'm just wondering what slate is supposed to mean.

slate is the color grey (or gray? i dunno).

Slate is a color. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slate_gray They were refering to you when they said "slate".
