if ever there was a topic i was suited for and that could make me hunker down in my CC war room shouting at my kid, "HONEY!! DADDY IS PLAYING CONQUER CLUB!!! LEAVE ME THE THE HELL ALONE OR THE BEATINGS WILL BEGIN!!!", this is the topic. however, i am going to refrain. i refuse to heap it on wicked, for an event i have no part in. however, this is VERY difficult for me, and i hope i can find a support group somewhere else in the forums... wicked pisses me off, but for every time she pisses me off, i'm sure there are at least 10 or more positive things she has done that go unnoticed, so i respect her to a degree... now, if i were involved in this, i'd be piling on with all the transgressions and errors i have in my wicked rolodex, but that is not the case. good luck wicked!!! give 'em hell!!!-0

Even although it was clearly a joke it was a flame outside of flame wars, just like iliads comment. Doesnt that mean you should ban yourself. I see no difference what so ever.

There are a lot of forums were the mods get attacked just because their mods but I have to say this case is completely different, most complaints against wicked are well founded.

What did you expect? You were cursing at her outside the Flame Wars. It wasn't a joke, it wasn't an argument (since she haven't participated in the conversation at that point) it was just an insult which should be kept in Flame Wars (not because it's forbidden, but because it's annoying and kills the mood on the forums). Could you guys please wait for someone to give you a reason to whine before doing it?

He winked in his post it was obviously a joke, the mods around here are so random brooksie said much more offensive stuff without getting banned at first, iliad didnt even get a warning as far as im aware.

This post contains an insult directed toward a member (Twill). Twill has not posted in this thread and I do believe that insuling him in absentia is a textbook example of "flaming". Since the poster (Wicked) has issued a three day forum ban to Illiad for exactly the same offense, I am hoping that you will send her a stern warning and thus once again send a strong message of "everybody is treated equaly" to the CC comunity. Thanks in advance.

Dearest Wicked, I would think that the text of my complaint shows just how low my expectations are. I care neither for the precious rules of this forum (which are useless simply because they are rules), nor do I care about how those rules are enforced, nor did my feelings got hurt by your cursing. I simply like to prove my point over and over again because it results either me learning that I'm wrong or by people understanding my point and using that knowledge to better themselves (which strokes my ego) or with people failing to understand my point even after it has been expressed in the simplest, most obvious fashion (which leaves me feeling superior). To conclude, if done moderatly, pointing out people's faults realy has no down side.

Iliad's past punishments: SEVERAL warnings, 24 hr ban, 5 day ban, 2 week ban

Since his last infraction was in November, I was lenient and went with a 3 day ban.

seems fair to me. persoanlly I would have given him a perm ban.

Wicked = though her post had elements of humor (word play) in it, it was still flaming outside the Flame Wars (especially since the object of her insult wasn't even involved in the conversation). The fact that her breaking of the rules that she herself is supposed to be inforcing has gone unpunished just proves for n-th time why no thinking person respects CC's forum mods (I had to emphasize that dictinction because I have nothing but respect for Multi Hunters and (despite the fact that I never dealt with them directily) Optimus, Steel Horse and Night Strike (tournament directors)) any more - they simply don't deserve to be respected and people who claim otherwise, while loyal, are sheep.

Of course you are completely right that these forums will continue to be moded in the same fast food fashion. It is not my intent, nor is it in my power to try and change that fact. All I aim for is to confront the mods responsible with their hypocrisy and unfairness when ever they display it just so that I ensure that no veteran poster will make a mistake of respecting the mods before they become deserving of that respect. In the spirit of players helping out and pointing out things to Mods and helping to make this site better and so on, I would like to help the Mods out by pointing out that I have still not recieved a feedback for this e-card that have sent you. Since 20 days have passed since my complaint, I have to ask why you bother coding all that stuff (e-cards, "Recieve feedback" option and so on), if using them accomplish nothing?
