explain objectives [Done]

i just won an AOR game with objectives, and i thought, hey, ive never seen objectives even MENTIONED in instructions. in fact, many special map features aren't posted in instructions (conquerman funky deployment, one way movement, etc. etc....) with the new map handbooks or whatever they're called, we could just post them in instructions, cause that's where all the noobs go.

they aren't really objectives, they are how bonuses are earned. and they are clearly stated in the map legend. DiM made a great map this is super polarizing, and i LOVE IT! however, all the info is in on the map legend. HOWEVER, i do think an area with all the instructions, etc for all the maps, is a great idea. maybe you could post this in the suggestions forum. who knows, maybe it already exits... great idea...-0

well, im gonna post this in suggestions after i write this... and i know that it's stated clearly, but maybe some idiot thinks its a poetic reference or something...

Actually Owen - they ARE objectives... if you hold all of the castles in AOR:Might for 1 turn - you win.
If you hold the Sanctuary in AOR:Magic for 1 turn - you win.

Doesn't feudal have an objective too? I seem to remember reading about it in a thread (hold all 6 castles at start of your turn). Assuming my memory is right, and it looks like I am, couldn't it be more prominent on the map at least!

And, wouldn't this thread be a good place to post up all the "objectives" that players have come across?

Yes Fuedal has - as does Gazala...

Upcoming Objective maps are "Das Schloss"

Good lord, the Gazala one is about as clear a mud. I'm sure glad they gave some visual clues on that one.

haven't tried it yet!!! i need to study it! and thanks for the invite to the game, i got it late, and none of my boys were on... i'll set one up and give you a password, and you can join when you have a free slot or are bored and want to try it out again..-0

Good question. He bumped a 10 month one in Sugs/Bugs as well. Perhaps I should send him a formal warning. :mrgreen:
