And Bones is right, if you were only here to play the game, 90% of you probably would have left by now. The community which forms around this plays such a massive role in what makes it fun that finding the right group for you, be it G1, the foundry or the flamers, will make or break your experience.

A well thought out and very interesting post OP :)

Keep your winking emoticons to yourself, bub, or else there will be an angrily-worded formal complaint in your inbox regarding harassment of the highest order, perpetrated by none other than yourself. Then the snake will swallow it's tail and, ouroboros achieved, your house of cards will tumble like a stack of pancakes knocked over by a burly redheaded truck driver named Sandy.

Of course Bones was right, you ninny.

Depends on which group, the Mythology, JF, and a couple others are fairly active, some not so much.

Timminz: Please keep the thread on track, or else I will be forced to report you to Twill for thread-hijacking and/or trolling, whichever offense you prefer.

That said, I'd say without reservation that the Pleasant Chaps are the most "active" clan in the Conquer Club Universe. I'd insert* a winking emoticon here, to indicate the double-entendre found in "active", but that seems oddly familiar, like the smell of an ancient fart, ripped during the exchanging of marital vows between your brother and his second slatternly wife.

I will state, however, than in terms of "Clan Activity", it is important to remember that quality far outweighs quantity, both in and around places where activity occurs. In other words, it's not the length of your post that's important, its how you use it.**

*"Insert" additional winking emoticon here.
**Here as well.

lol maybe he should write a mission statement for his clan to save the earth through the unity of his clan by educating the world on the importance of preserving our need to be social and involved while teaching youngsters the importance of being active in an online clan so that global warming doesn't get any worse and the hungry in South Yemen will be fed and free of infectious diseases !

I think that you missed the entire point of the discussion I was trying to start.

Besides, it isn't like THOTA is ever going to want anything to do with Generation One anyways, we aren't "good" enough to be in your presence, remember? All I was doing was expounding upon a conversation I had the other day, is there really a need to have members of THOTA repeated post sarcastic and mocking comments?

I wouldn't be doing that to a conversation that one of your clan members had started, so please refrain from doing it to mine. This discussion was worthwhile and interesting until certain individuals showed up and took it off track.

nope! i think you went over board... but that is my opinion and dammit I'm allowed to have it just like you are allowed to think what you want about clan activity .... so there .... calm yourself ... if you don't like what people have to say then don't put posts out there like that if you can't take it .... stay on the porch puppy ....

lol THOTA doesn't like shooting fish in a barrel .... and speaking of keeping it on topic how does bashing THOTA have anything to do with this ? why not listen to your own advice ?

<edit> oh wait i forgot to roll my eyes at you ... lmao

I do find it humorous that 4 of your fellow THOTA members answered OP's original post without any hint of conceited/narcissistic/egotistical undertones, so clearly we can't paint the entire clan with such a brush. I guess it is only RiskTycoon who feels some need to better himself by putting down someone else's honest question?

Congrats to THOTA for having higher ranked players than G1. But you won't find a single person in our clan who cares. So how about instead of making this thread a THOTA bashing or THOTA circle jerk, we get back on topic? This isn't flame wars.

Look, if you don't get anything special from THOTA other than games then that's all fine and dandy for you. Apparently 4 other of your clan mates do, however. You are more than welcome to your own opinion, but taking pot shots at G1 (or OP) because your clan has higher ranks is just ridiculous, especially when it has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

This was, quite obviously, a shot at Optimus and G1. Just because you didn't use names, doesn't make everyone else stupid.

Clearly expressing your opinion that players/clan without high ranks, are easy targets, and not worth your time.

If you're going to stir the pot, at least be man enough to not deny what you've said when you're questioned on it.

Again, you are making this about clan vs clan when clearly I have stated that you are the exception to THOTA. My point is that YOU (not THOTA) are unnecessarily being an asshole just because you don't agree with the premise of the original post.

I cant understand this place (CC), if you have nothing thoughtful to say towards the discussion, then why say anything at all? Are you feeling lonely? Do you really want to stand out of the "crowd" and be noticed? I think, you need some love and cuddles from your THOTA buddies! Maybe a few more points as well, coz ur score is dipping and you might get the boot soon!

Hail and Well Met!

The Canadian Clashers has had 2 Leader Changes since it's formation and as a result of that the CCC forums are fairly inactive. Our newest Leader, Shabel, is just getting a handle on things right now. I will be his 2 I.C./Tourny Director and we should become more active in our own forum and on the site as a whole in the coming weeks. Although I'm fairly new to this site I was a Clan Leader on another site for a CMG Called Mage Knight. The 'Angry Beavers Clan' was an all Canadian Clan and was a fairly active both in forum and on the site as a whole. I look forward to helping get our Clan ramped up to speed and becoming a productive group on the site.

Good Luck and Good Hunting to one and all. May the Gods of Rand() smile upon you.

I'm glad we agree on something Jim :)

V.I. - Take it somewhere else or we will have some more fun words in private...this thread is about clan activity, not my winking in your general direction ;)

RiskTycoon et al. Chill. The thread was about how active clans are and not about rivalries. It was going rather well up till a point, and should perhaps return to that well intentioned measuring rather than arguing over what the measurement means?

Thanks to norseman for trying to get things back on track :)

Have a good one.

Our forum is very active and very tight nit. I mostly play just in our group just for the fact that the members hold the same values and have a good sense of humor. It lacks the childishness I see so much of on the rest of the forums (other than what is in just fun). I read more than post in the rest of the forum due to the non stop fighting and lack of respect that is so often dished out. It seems pointless most times. CC mods do all they can but in truth if you walk into anything with a bad aditude thats what you get back and nothing is solved....It must be getting late where did this soap box come from?
