GREASEMONKEY - GOOD or BAD

Postby hulmey on Sun May 11, 2008 2:16 am

I have been without greasemonkey for over 6 months. I decided to reinstall it again and I must say there is toooooo much information and colours and clicky's...Its so distracting and really does more harm than good to my CC experience.

All I want is to be able to see how much my oppotnents are getting in the way of bonus's. On the AoM map, im receiving pages and pages of GOD knows what!

Finally, I've heard a few complaints about greasemonkey slowing down play. So my question is can we have a simple version of the bloody thing!

Ps....Well done to all the characters involved in making greasemonkey, espically Yeti. THis thread is in no way a dig at them but more of a feedback kinda thing!

I recommend turning off the text map, and setting the stats to standard. It'll remove a lot of the clutter, and just give you army/terit/bonus counts

What he said. And while I keep this on, maybe you should turn off the map inspect too.

I have every thing on BOB turned off except for the stats which are set to standard. I do need them though...

No, no, don't do that! Map inspect is invaluable - gone are the days of getting stuck at a dead end during an elimination because you can't get to grips with one of the crazy new maps. I stick with extended stats too - I like the percentages and stuff but other that I agree. Turn text map and all that crap off

Same here except I use map inspect when I play a new map or a complicated one that I have not played for a while.
I have an IQ of 195. Of course my answers are different!

Probably.

Anyways, the only thing I use and have ever used is the extended stats. Calcing the terits, and last bonus, is pretty much all I need.

I'm too lazy to track it through the log myself :/
