I made a thread in suggestions asking about mod-powers in sub-forums, but all I got was blithe general statements about 'kinks in the system', 'it'll happen someday', and 'more than one button to press'.

Basically, this is an issue on which we're just going to get fobbed off, because nobody seems to have the time/inclination to bother making a few small changes.
