3 people you would like to meet

Post by Mirak »

If you could meet three people from history who would they be?
If you feel like it you could also say why you chose them but its up to you.

My choices:

1/ Alexander the Great
How can anyone who enjoys this game not want to have met him?
2/ Jesus Christ
Arguably the most influential person in history....though I don't believe in his divinity I respect and admire the philosophy behind his teachings
3/Julius Caeser
Just to warn him....

Marilyn Monroe, Greta Garbo, and Mata Hari.

Sexy and complex, sexy and accented, and sexy and devilishly devious.

So did Einstein. He was terrible at math and hated it. That's why he turned to science.

"As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality."

"I don't believe in mathematics."

"Do not worry about your problems with mathematics, I assure you mine are far greater."

2. Abraham Lincoln.... to ask him, "Other than that, did you enjoy the play?"

3. Carlos Beltran... to discuss game 7 of the NLCS and show him how to SWING the bat.

You do realize you'd get shot if you called him that in the 1770s-80s? ;)
